You’ve seen them on television, read about them in magazines, newspapers, and online. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), better known to you as drones, have revolutionized the way our military conducts field operations — and now they’re about revolutionize the way Americans live and work every day.

Hosted by Unmanned Vehicle University, the first university in the world to offer degrees in Unmanned Systems Engineering, the breakthrough Fundamentals of UAV Seminar will introduce you to an industry that is predicted to create 70,000 high paying careers over the next several years at salaries that range from $90,000 to more than $200,000.

The question is, “Do you want to be part of the drone revolution?” If the answer is yes, then make plans to attend our next UAV Fundamentals Seminar.

For the special package price of $1,499, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to one of the fastest growing career opportunities in the world. Our UAV Fundamentals Seminar teaches basic to advanced concepts for those who are learning about drones for the first time, or who want to learn more about how this industry can help them succeed. You will also get to experience hands-on drone flight training with actual UAVs.

Any active duty of the military receives a $100 discount. Please call (602) 759-7372 or email to claim your coupon code for online ordering.

Reasons to Attend

One afternoon of the seminar will be dedicated (weather permitting) to allowing the Students to fly actual drones in a local field. This will give you a basic concept of drone flight, capabilities and control.
The UAV industry is just getting started and our Seminars will provide you with the knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. Career opportunities include UAV Pilots, UAV Instructors, Imagery Analysts, Payload Operator and much more!

A recent economic report indicated that commercial UAVs will generate 70,000 new jobs.

There are already hundreds of applications for UAVs with countless more on the horizon. Now is the time to launch your UAV business and lay the foundation for future generations. Our industry experts will help you get started.
If you are new to the UAV industry or want to increase your knowledge, our seminars will provide you with the information to take the next step. We will cover topics like starting your own business, uav design, systems and sensors, and a lot more.
Most of the faculty at Unmanned Vehicle University have PhD degrees in engineering and over 500 years of combined UAV experience. What’s more, the university’s UAV pilots have combined experience of more than 60,000 hours in small UAVs.
You will earn 4 credits which you can use towards our Undergraduate or Graduate degree program! A student that completed our seminar presented the certificate with his resume and was hired by Textron as a UAV analyst with a $100,000 salary.

I recently started the doctoral program at the Unmanned Vehicle University and thought the 3-day UAV Seminars course would be a great overview for all of the upcoming courses in my future. Indeed, I was extremely impressed with the amount of material we covered in such a short time. The topics give a well-rounded look at the industry, covering not only the full system perspective of the vehicles, payloads and ground control stations, but where we stand with current legislation, commercial opportunities and what future technologies are being worked on. The support material included provides plenty of sources for review and guidance for further topic exploration. There were numerous multi-media examples, as well as great class discussion. Speaking of the class, it was a diverse group of professionals that were all interesting to spend time with. It appears we made great friends as well as a new network of folks passionate about the aerospace industry and all of the benefits unmanned systems will bring. Dr. LeMieux mentioned in the initial introductions how the industry is changing almost daily. True to that statement, we had several relevant articles presented each day that were hot off the press. The material is fresh, maintained well and professionally put together. As an instructor, Dr. LeMieux was engaging, extremely knowledgeable and accountable for bringing back answers the following morning to the rare couple of questions he said he needed to check on. He cares about the program and it shows. I give my highest recommendations for the UAV Seminars Course.

As the owner of a small photography studio, I always have to be on the alert for the next big wave of change that can enhance my business. When I started to learn about drones I realized that they could become an important part of the creative services I offer my individual and corporate clients. Providing them with the ability to capture a moment or gather the visual information they need from the air makes me that much more important to them. When I found out about Unmanned Vehicle University, I knew I had to take the course — and I am glad I did. Before taking the course at UVU, the only thing I ever flew was a paper airplane. The course gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to expand my photography/video business in a whole new exciting direction aimed toward the future.

The simulator was a good way to get an idea of how the controller (transmitter) works. I found the challenges with the 10 levels to be great skill builders. The levels made you put the multirotor in certain places (landing in certain areas/flying through certain obstacles) which at first was challenging but with a lot of practice became second nature.

I really could not have asked for anything more out of phase 3. Scott was very professional and really built Jon and my confidence with several multirotors. He showed us how to update software and firmware for Dji products and tons of features that the Phantom 2 Vision plus and S1000 are capable of. We both had a lot of flight time with multiple platforms. Jon and I walked away with a great deal of knowledge and confidence with flying the platforms that we will be using for work. Scott is a top notch instructor and I am very grateful that I was able to receive instruction from him.
