The UAV pilot training program consists of three phases. Phase 1 and 2 are conducted at home. Phase three is conducted at one of our flight schools. At the end of the program, students will receive the UAV Pilot Certificate that shows 10 hours of simulator, 16 hours of ground school and 24 hours of flight training for a total of 50 hours of training. Phase 2 (At Home) As soon as payment is received, we will ship a simulator to you in the mail. The simulator consists of software and a controller that plugs into the computer USB port. After you install the software you will be able to fly 47 different small UAVs from 6 different sites. Students will receive instruction on both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft. Students will practice unusual attitude recoveries and takeoff and landings. One of our highly qualified instructors will call you and provide instruction on the phone while you are at home. This hands on experience will prepare you for flight with several real small UAVs during your 3 day flight training class.

Mr. Darcy Wingo is one of the most experienced UAV pilot experts in the world! He has over 25 years and 10,000 hours of experience with small, medium and large size UAVs. He is the Master Instructor for Unmanned Vehicle University. He has recently flown a modified Aerostar UAV in Afghanistan that used a winch catapult system to aid in short takeoffs and landings. He was also an external pilot, flight test and systems engineer operating the Aerostar UAV in Afghanistan supporting the Dutch Army and Marines
Mr. Gene Payson has over 40 years and 25,000 hours of experience with small UAVs . He is also the president of Troy Built Models, the third largest small UAV company in the USA. His company is involved in the manufacturing, operation, design, development, systems engineering, power plant engineering, electrical and electronic system development, market analysis, piloting, and more regarding large Remote Controlled and small Unmanned Aircraft. He is a UAV pilot for the Air Force Research Laboratory and is a certified pilot on the Penguin B gasoline powered fixed wing small UAV. He has guest lectured regarding small UAVs at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and other venues for several years. His forte is small UAV operation.
Mr Matt McCurdy holds the multi-engine commercial, CFI and instrument ratings. He has a Bachelor of Aviation Science degree, with 6 years experience in UAS operations including multiple foreign deployments. Over 3500 hours experience with the Tigershark and Copperhead UAVs. He has mmanaged a group of nine UAS operators in Iraq and Afghanistan and maintained a fleet of UAS aircraft to provide 24/7 coverage. He was responsible for UAS engine and airframe maintenance as well as systems and sensor configuration. He is now performing primary flight training for UAS operators in Yuma, AZ. He is also developing UAV operations manuals, checklists and training material
