Education institutes are already adopting drones to transform the way campus security is conducted. Drones provide more accurate and widespread coverage than stationary cameras. The use of cameras through drone video systems assist in keeping the campus safe.
The university of Alabama in Huntsville has already announced that the school would be using drones to assign campus police. Additionally, there are at least 25 universities in the US that have been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration to fly drones in US airspace.
