UAV105 – UAS Aviation Management – 4 Credits

Successful Flying Organizations are: Mission-Focused, Safety-Minded and Professional. This course examines thoroughly the balance in priorities between Safety, Security, Effectiveness and Efficiency. A solid background treatment covering the major components/disciplines that comprise a Flying Organization, what they do, how they do it, and specifically how these best practices relate to the unmanned aircraft community. After completing the course the student will be able to: apply the time-tested aviation management structure of training, standardization/evaluation, scheduling, safety and leadership culture to the drone technology revolution.
